Sales Manager

We are seeking a Sales Manager with strong experience in the construction sector (asphalt haulage, aggregate haulage, dirt haulage, bulk haulage, other debris removals, etc.) and a proven track record in B2B and B2C sales. The ideal candidate understands the challenges construction businesses face and can effectively position our SaaS solutions to drive adoption.

You will lead sales efforts, manage client relationships, and build a high-performing team of Sales Associates. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing startup and shape the way construction businesses adopt digital tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a sales team, including hiring and onboarding Sales Associates.

• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for construction businesses in asphalt haulage, aggregate haulage, dirt haulage, bulk haulage, other debris removals, etc.

• Build and manage a strong B2B and B2C pipeline across contractors, fleet owners, single owner-operators and construction companies.

• Identify customer pain points and demonstrate how Construckers’ SaaS solutions solve them.

• Drive new business acquisition and expand opportunities within existing accounts.

• Negotiate contracts and close deals with contractors, suppliers, and enterprise-level clients.

• Partner with the product team to share customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities.

• Represent Construckers at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

• Track and analyze performance metrics, quotas, and KPIs to optimize results.

• Report directly to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

10–15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role.

• Strong background in the construction industry, specifically in asphalt haulage, aggregate haulage, dirt haulage, bulk haulage, other debris removals, etc.

• Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS sales or tech-enabled service sales is a strong advantage.

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas while scaling teams.

• Skilled in full-cycle sales: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing.

• Ability to clearly articulate the value of digital solutions to traditionally non-digital industries.

• Strong network of contacts in the construction and materials industry.

• Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Valid G driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
